Messy Christmas will be the first event of our Christmas Programme and to make it a great success we need you. Firstly for those who might not know what Messy Christmas is, it is our seasonal Messy Church Event. So what is Messy Church? Messy Church enables people of all ages to belong to Christ together through their local church. It is a way of being church which is particularly suited to families, but welcoming to all. It meets at a time and on a day that suits local families and is particularly aimed at people who have never belonged to church before. You can expect a variety of activities, a short celebration with a story, songs and a meal together. To find out more visit messychurch.org.uk So how can you help? There are lots of different ways you can help, some more hands on than others. We will need a Welcome Team, someone for the Sound Booth, people who are happy to supervise/lead a craft, help in the kitchen, people to set up, befrienders and people to support us in prayer. We will be having a planning meeting on Sunday 25 November, 7pm at Cale Green, we have done some initial planning but would love it if people came armed with their own ideas! Messy Christmas will be on Sunday 9th December, 4pm – 6pm. Please can you email firstname.lastname@example.org and/or email@example.com if you are able to help and are coming to the planning meeting. Thanks.
