Get To Know 360Life Church, Stockport

360Life Church is a vibrant and growing church. We are not a weird sect or cult!! We are an orthodox Christian Church, belonging to a mainstream denomination called Assemblies of God. We worship God, because the death and resurrection of Jesus has changed history. We are about making a difference in our community, because that's what Jesus did. We are about telling people the good news, because it sets people free. And we are about seeing God's power transform lives, because He has called us to change the world. We are a local church that functions as an independent charity based in Stockport, with a Life Centre in Cale Green.

What to expect

The service invariably begins with 30 minutes or so of worship. The worship is led by a group of musicians and singers and is a time to hear from God and to meet with Him.  About once every four weeks we include communion in the time of worship.

We then pause for a few moments to allow everyone to get to groups relevant to them... all groups take place at the same time in different parts of the building.

Children aged 6 months-14 years go to specific groups designed for them. If you would like your child to attend one, someone will show you where they need to go before the session begins.

Adults remain in the main hall for Bible teaching. As we understand what the Bible has to say for living life as a Christ-follower and put it into practice, we are equipped to live as Christ's disciples, living as Christ would if he were living our lives. We try to make the teaching interesting and accessible and use multi-media. Audio recordings of the sermons can be listened to on this website. Most Sundays a discussion sheet is made available for use later in the week in small groups. This can also be downloaded from the Listen to Sermons page.

Attending a new church for the first time can be intimidating. To make your first visit to 360Life Church a little easier, please look at the Frequently Asked Questions on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a Sunday service last?

Approximately 90 minutes, or so.

What style of service is it?

We have a very relaxed atmosphere

We aim to be relevant to real life and to help everyone grow in knowing God and understanding His ways.

What happens in a service?

We begin with around 30 minutes of worship, led by a group of musicians and singers. It is a time to hear from God and to meet with Him.  About once a month we include communion in the time of worship.

We break for a few minutes after this to allow everyone to get to the groups relevant to them - all groups take place at the same time in different parts of the building.

Children aged 6 months - 14 yrs go to their separate groups. For adults, there's teaching and sometimes we offer additional options with topics such as Christian Foundations.

The aim of the teaching is to study and understand what the Bible has to say for living life as a Christ-follower. As we put what we learn into practice, we are equipped to live as Christ's disciples - living as Christ would if he were living our lives.

We try to make the teaching interesting and accessible by using multi-media. Copies of media and  audio recordings of the talks are available on this website.

Soon after 12pm we finish together with refreshments.

Do you have Holy Communion?

We have communion monthly, usually as part of our time of worship in the first 30 minutes of the service.

Is there a dress code?

We have a very relaxed atmosphere. Most people tend to wear casual clothes, but if you feel like dressing up a bit, then why not?

Do I need to bring money?

We do take up an offering during our service but there is no obligation to give. Refreshments are free.

Do you serve drinks?

We conclude with refreshments - you are welcome to stay behind for as long as there is someone there to talk to!

Can anyone come to church?

Yes! No matter where you find yourself in life's journey, there’s a place for you in church. 360Life church is made up of people of all ages and from many different backgrounds and we welcome everyone, of any faith or none.

Is the venue accessible?

There is a very slight lip on main door but it is wide and there is a welcome team to help show you in, open internal doors etc. The seats are not fixed to the floor and can be moved to accommodate wheelchairs. The words to the songs are displayed on screens dotted about the building and the west wing,to the left of the stage, facing forward, has a hearing loop installed. All the main activities are downstairs and so is the crèche. Unfortunately the children's work (age 4-11) is upstairs and we don't currently have a lift. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Reviews can be found on Euan's Guide. we want to be as inclusive as possible so please leave your own review to help others looking for an accessible place to worship.

Are children welcome?

Children are welcome and stay in the main service for the first 30 minutes which is generally a time of worship. At approximately 11 am we split into our separate groups, all groups take place at the same time in different parts of the building. The groups are as follows:

Little Sparks - 6 mths - 3 yrs

Ignite - 4 yrs - 7 yrs (pre-school - yr 2)

Lift-Off - 8 yrs - 11 yrs (school yrs 3 - 6)

nRG - Secondary school age 11-14 yrs

More information about the groups can be found on our Kids Page.

Can I bring a baby? Will there be baby facilities?

All children are welcome, including babies. There are baby changing facilities on the ground floor,  in the corridor from the main hall.

Babies under 6 months tend to stay with their parents throughout but are welcome to come in to 'Little Sparks' our group for 6 mths - 3 yrs. Babies can be left in the group without a parent staying, providing the workers that day are confident that they can provide adequate care.

Is your team DBS-checked?

Every helper in groups for children or young people has been DBS-checked, in line with our safeguarding policy.

If your question isn’t answered, please get in touch.
