Kids are an important and valued part of the God’s family and we aim to reflect that in 360Life Church.
In most Sunday services, the children stay with their families and carers for the first 30 minutes or so. That means they participate in worshipping together with the whole church. Then they go to age-specific groups elsewhere in the building. That’s their opportunity to learn and interact while the adults continue in the service.
The children’s groups on provide a secure, safe and fun environment, where children feel included and valued.
Our intent is to support parents and carers with what they are already building into their children’s lives in the rest of the week, so that their children will come to know Jesus for themselves.
On your first visit, the Welcome Team who greet you as you arrive at the church will be pleased to direct you to the right group for each of your children.
On a child’s first visit, parents and carers are asked to fill in a registration form so we have basic information about the child, together with details of any specific medical or dietary needs and any other information that you wish us to know about your child.
Children 4-11 years are invited to occasional extra events that take place at other times of the week.
These include Messy Church, games evenings and film nights. Children are also encouraged to attend special church activities that involve the whole family and every age group, such as summer picnics.
Older children (8-11yrs) attend a weekend camp most years.
The church has a formal Safeguarding Policy for the protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All kids’ volunteers and leaders are checked with the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as the CRB).
The main focus of these groups is on caring for one another
Groups are comprised of about 6 people.
Everyone who is part of the church family is placed in a group. We do our best to take account of personal preferences. Not everyone in every group attends their group meetings, but everyone does have a small group of people looking out for them and offering them encouragement and support. In this way, it could be said that the church "pastors itself".
Most of the groups meet on Wednesday or Thursday evenings in various homes across Stockport. A few groups meet during the daytime.
Since every group is different, groups vary in how frequently they meet and in how group members choose to stay in touch with one other.

360Life Church does not receive funds from external sources, except for very occasional and modest grants that are given to charities for very specific purposes.
The life and ministry of the church is totally underpinned by the sacrificial and regular giving of church members and of others. And this is good and appropriate, since giving to God is a fundamental part of being a Jesus-follower.
The church itself gives - we aim to give 10% of our unrestricted income to missions in the UK and overseas.

With extensive experience leading a large central Manchester congregation, planting her own church, and serving as a school governor, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong biblical foundation to her role. When she’s not at work in a local secondary school, you can find her wandering a National Trust park with her family or curled up on the sofa watching a crime drama on TV. She’s a gifted communicator and loves seeing God’s word transforming those who hear it and put it into practice!

Partner in the Community is the perfect role for Helen as it plays to her passions for people, community and God. Through this role Helen is building greater links within the local community, helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation and ultimately drawing people into God’s community, the greatest community of all.
Church Administrator
Nathan's music taste has been described as pretentious melancholy and his taste in films as artsy nonsense. But at heart, he's a common Mancunian who loves his town and the people in it.
He's married to the most beautiful and intelligent woman in the world and has three adorable, incredibly well-behaved children. He loves sarcasm and uses it far too much for a mature adult.
Nathan has been working in churches and charities for over a decade, administrating, leading, organising and generally just being awesome. Through it all though, he follows Jesus as best he can and with all his heart!
