We are aware that some of you may be visiting our website for the first time and whilst we hope to have designed it to be easy to use, we know that not everyone will be able to find what they need with ease. So, in an attempt to help you we thought we’d put together a short(ish) guide to navigating the 360Life Church website.
For those of you that might be viewing this on social media our website is 360life.church and when using this web address you will automatically land on our Home Page. The first thing to say about our Home Page is that it is from here that you can navigate to other parts of our website, but more importantly it is here that you will be able to see a snapshot of the things that we think are of the most importance to you.
If you scroll past the round buttons at the top of the Home page you will see a section that shows the Events Coming Soon, if you click on the title of any of these events a new page will open up that will show more details. The intention is that the Meeting Id’s and passwords for online meetings on Zoom will show in this detail, however there have been a few glitches with the calendar so these details may also be put into a post, which should make it’s way to our Facebook page.
So what is a post? Well, essentially posts are like a diary entries, they always appear in reverse chronological order with the newest first. It is these posts that ideally end up on social media; however at times this may not happen, especially if we are posting a lot of daily updates, so it is always worth checking the website as you will always find anything we have posted there. If you scroll past the “Events Coming Soon” you will see three sections towards the bottom of the page. The Featured News & Events are the posts that we particularly want to draw your attention to; alongside this you will see our Latest News which is our most recent post.
If you would like to delve further you can use the navigation bar at the top of the Home page above the slideshow or the buttons below it; the navigation bar will appear at the top of every page, not just the Home Page. If you click on the text on the navigation bar, you will either be taken to that page, for example CONTACT US will take you straight to that page, or a dropdown box will appear from which you can select an option, for example ABOUT US links to six further pages.
If you want to find a post that is older than the latest one shown on the Home Page you can find it in NEWS & UPDATES. There is even the option to filter the post categories by clicking on the keywords on the right hand-side of the page. So if you only want to see posts tagged “breaking news”, then just click on that, otherwise the posts will appear on the page in chronological order, the most recent at the top of the page.
You can view the next 10 events by selecting Coming Soon from the dropdown box below WHAT’S ON or events for the month by selecting Events Calendar from the same place. As from the Home page if you click on an event on the Coming Soon page it will open a new page which may contain more details. To do this on the Events Calendar you need to click on the event title on the calendar and then the image on the event preview that appears on the right hand-side of the page. (If a hand appears on the screen then you are in the right place to click).
As mentioned the latest sermons can be accessed from the Home Page, these will currently be in video format, they will play from the home page if you click on the play icon but will remain small; to view larger click on the symbol that resembles a video camera, this will take you to a new page where you can view them more easily. The sermons link to the video on YouTube so you can choose to view them there; they will also be posted to our Facebook page. If you would like to catch up on previous sermons click on the Sermons button on the Home Page which will take you to a back catalogue covering various topics, sermons previous to 22 March will be in audio format.
