It’s Epiphany on Monday 6th January. The Christmas decorations come down. The schools go back this week. Almost everyone has gone back to work. And most routine church activities re-start.
Prayer meetings will be happening weekly at 8pm, starting this Tuesday, 7th January.
It’s Soup Group this week — lunchtime on Tuesday.
Toddlers re-starts on Friday morning after the Christmas break.
The Ladies Group has its monthly meeting this Friday, in the evening.
And most, if not all, of the small groups will be meeting at some point this week.
So if you have been making New Year resolutions that involve praying more with others, or that mean getting stuck into serving in Soup Group or Toddlers, this is the week to start.
If you have resolved to prioritise attending your small group — this is the week to make a start.
If you have set yourself the goal of building closer friendships with others in the church, this is the week to take the first step on the journey.
And if you are simply raring to go after two weeks of overeating and doing nothing, this is the week for you!
Have a great week and be intentional about making it really count for something.
