A Call to Action on Assisted Suicide Legislation

|

Our Response

In response to recent developments regarding assisted suicide legislation in the UK, 360Life Church is urging its congregation to take action. Kevin Todhunter will address this critical issue during our upcoming Sunday service.

Open Letter from Faith Leaders

On November 21, 2024, an open letter was released to the media by significant faith leaders across the UK, including Glyn Barrett, the National Leader of AoG GB. This letter emphasizes the intrinsic value of every human life, grounded in the belief that all are made in God's image (Genesis 1:27). It calls for the protection of the vulnerable and urges against the proposed changes in legislation.

The letter underscores our collective responsibility as the body of Christ to love our neighbors (Luke 10:27) and defend the rights of the needy (Proverbs 31:9). It is a call to remind each other of our inherent worth, affirming that "it is good you are in the world."

Call to Action

As a church, we are encouraged to prayerfully consider our response to this issue and communicate our concerns to our MPs. Below is a link that enables individuals to quickly write to their MPs. This is a crucial opportunity for us to advocate for those who may not have a voice in this debate.

We believe this is a pivotal moment for us as a community to stand together in faith and action. Let us continue to uphold the dignity and value of every life through our prayers and our voices.
